Paua shell is native to the waters around New Zealand. The mollusk is a delicious seafood, like a clam or oyster, while it's beautiful shell allows for environmentally friendly use of the entire animal.
These shells are brilliant in there green and blue iridescence! The intricate swirling patterns make each shell as unique as a snowflake.
The "Paua of Love" necklace is lovingly created using diamond shaped paua beads wire wrapped with sterling silver. The bib consists of 6 paua diamonds alternating with dangles of graduated lengths up to 4 inches in the center. A stirling silver chain and toggle clasp complete this 19 inch necklace
