PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This is the first piece in my new collection entitled "Journaling". Following this piece will be several others using this same font and focusing on journaling all of the important moments of your life and carrying them with you.
I originally designed this piece for a friend of mine who, after many years of trying unsuccessfully to have children, chose to adopt. She was blessed with a perfect, gorgeous baby girl! With my mother having been adopted, this was a very special tribute to both her and to my friend. I inscribed the words "child of my heart" onto her pendant tag (see second picture).
This same pendant can be used as a reminder of a loved one that is gone from this world, but not from your heart or to cherish your babies that may leave the nest, but are always close to your heart...no matter how old they are!
As with all of my pieces, this piece was handcrafted, starting with silver stock. I formed and soldered this delicate, but substantial heart and sculpted the gentle curves into a natural flourish. The chain (NOT INCLUDED) goes through a simple, soldered jumpring which holds both the heart and the inscribed tag.
Choose a short phrase of about 5 words (email me to inquire whether your choice of words will fit properly), which I will mix and match between my new journaling font and my standard block font, to create an eclectic and attractive layout on this 1 1/8" tag.
The whole piece is roughly 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches, but each heart will vary slightly in shape and size, as this is a completely handmade piece.

* All items come to you in an organdy gift bag and will be shipped securely in a bubble mailer. Please don't use cream or dip cleaners as it will damage the patina finish. Only use a polishing cloth to remove any unwanted tarnish.
* All inscribed items with personal inscriptions are not eligible for return or exchange.

If your item is defective, you must let me know within 7 days of receipt and then you will have a choice of return to be repaired or exchange for a different item. If your order is a custom order or has been custom inscribed, you will not be able to exchange it.
