PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Having seen these requested a few times on Etsy and, being a softy when it comes to pigs as my husband will tell you, I decided to go ahead and try to replicate the infamous cufflinks from Lisa's Wedding. Pretty cute if I do say so myself!
Formed from polymer clay, the bride and groom are each just 1.5 inches tall. They each have a silver coloured cufflink back baked into their backs. The colours all come from the clay itself, having blended various colours of clay to get the correct shades. The only added surface colour is a bit of blush on their cheeks. Due to their handcrafted nature, some slight variations from the photos will occur.
These were great fun to make! Miniaturizing is tough though if you want detail, so they took me about 7 hours to complete.
What kind of a man would wear such attire on his wedding day you ask? Well there are many such species! The die hard Simpsons fan is the first that comes to mind. Then of course there is the die hard lover of pigs. Last, but certainly not least, there is the die hard lover of his bride-to-be who is wise enough to know when to say yes to whatever she wants when she sees something she thinks is just too precious!
